The Crystal Growth Laboratory (CGL) develops - in close collaboration with industry - equipment and processes for the production of bulk crystals and thin films in order to meet the increasing requirements on crystal quality and cost reduction. The strategy of CGL is to optimize the crystal growth processing by a combined use of experimental process analysis and computer modeling.
